My January can be brutal for those seeking a healthy, compassionate relationship with food and with their body. One can hardly escape all the marketing for gym memberships, exercise programs, and the latest diets - even if they don't call themselves that. With all of that in the air, it's prime time for reviewing Intuitive Eating guidelines.
There’s nothing at all wrong with going to the gym and thoughtfully choosing what to eat. My heartfelt hope is that, however you choose to move and eat, your choices come from a place of appreciation and respect for yourself and your body. Stay sane, my friends.
