You Can Have Dessert for Breakfast!

Oh, my friends! Ever get the feeling you want to be indulged like a spoiled kid? Yes? Have I got a smoothie bowl for you. It's like eating dessert for breakfast, but it's healthy. This one is the most recent recipe I've tried from foodrevolution.org. Bananas, cocoa, peanuts, strawberries, and more - YUM!

Banana Split Smoothie Bowl

As you can see, I used whole peanuts instead of crushed and the peanut butter is hiding under the peanuts. I also halved the amount of cocoa powder, because, yikes! Look how dark it is, even with only half. The amount it called for would have too much, even for this chocolate-loving girl. If you're more hard-core than I am, go for the full shot and wear your Chocolate Beast title proudly.


You guys, this one is so delectable it'll likely end up in my dessert rotation.
